Unhappy RHEL 4 64Bit an HP BL 25p, the clock don't work correctly

Hello,

at first, excuse me for my english, i come from switzerland.

The Problem:
I installed a RHEL 4 64Bit on a HP BL 25p Blade Server (AMD, Opteron Processor) after the Installation the clock doesn't work corretly.
In the minute the second-pointer jumps several seconds forward.

A synchronisation with a NTP-Server didn't success, after the server received the correct time, the second-pointer jumps also serveral seconds in the minute forward.

If i installed a RHEL 4 32Bit on HP BL 25p Blade Server, the clock work correctly!

What is the different between 64Bit RHEL 4 und 32Bit RHEL 4 concerning the clock???

Can someone help me there? or, did someone make already the same experiences?

Thank you

greez
