RH5: Ran updates last week, now faillog acts weird

Just want to see if I'm the only one.

Ran updates last week, now whenever I run faillog it seems to run it with the -a option. My output looks like this:

Login Failures Maximum Latest On

root 0 0 Wed Dec 31 19:00:00 -0500 1969
bin 0 0 Wed Dec 31 19:00:00 -0500 1969
daemon 0 0 Wed Dec 31 19:00:00 -0500 1969
adm 0 0 Wed Dec 31 19:00:00 -0500 1969
lp 0 0 Wed Dec 31 19:00:00 -0500 1969
sync 0 0 Wed Dec 31 19:00:00 -0500 1969
shutdown 0 0 Wed Dec 31 19:00:00 -0500 1969
halt 0 0 Wed Dec 31 19:00:00 -0500 1969

Is this happening to anyone else or is it just me?

'rpm -q pam --changelog | grep faillog' doesn't return any specific entries but your observation seems correct when I compare it with 'faillog' from say Centos3.
