RH 9 CD boots ok.. error No CD found
 

I'm able to boot from Red Hat 9 CD1.

It asks what language, type of keyboard then for Installation Method.
I choose Local CDROM and get the following prompt:

No Red Hat Linux CD was found which matches your boot media. Please insert the Red Hat Linux CD and press OK to retry.

I have tried burning CD 1 ISO again using Nero (following burning tutorials with nero).

What can I do? Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Are you sure your download of RH was good and complete? Where did you download it from? Did you check the md5sum from the web site against your download on the hardrive? Could be corrupted.

i got the iso months ago and don't know where i got them from but i have since then downloaded another set of rh 9 isos and they worked fine
