Not much we can help WITH, since you don't provide any useful details. What do the logs say? Can you access ANY web page? How do you know sarg is generating valid reports in a directory? Unless you provide details and information, no one, anywhere, will be able to help you with anything.

Also, squid reporting seems to be a recurring theme:

sarg-1.4.1-5.2.el4.rf.x86_64
seeing that is for the UNSUPPORTED RHEL4
i would NOT expect it to run on RHEL6

notice the "el4" in the name

Also the "rf" is rpmforge
and rpmforge is a bit incompatible with RHN
and will CAUSE problems !!!

With this also being "Redhat Enterprise Linux 6"
you do have the required support contract ?
right ?

Yes i don't have support contract .. and if this version is not compatible then if i install latest version it gives me error that is gd < required.

Thanks

if you did not buy the REQUIRED support contract then
DO NOT use RHEL
you will have MAJOR!!! problems trying to install anything
and will NOT get any updates and SECURITY updates

instead install the FREE!!!!!!!! rebuild
CentOS 7.0

Then you have some choices:
  • Call Red Hat and PAY FOR what you're using, which you should be doing to start with. At the very least, pay for the self-support plan, so you can install things.
  • Stop where you are and load CentOS instead, which is 99.x% identical to RHEL, but FREE
  • Learn to live with the problems and difficulties that come with not paying for a commercial product; this includes compiling a great deal of programs from source, one by one, and manually installing them.

...which brings us back to "If you paid for Red Hat Enterprise or used CentOS, you wouldn't have this problem". And if it gives you a missing dependency, then install THAT manually as well, either from source package or via RPM.

There really aren't other options: if you want this software to work, then you will either have to install it manually from source (which includes ALL the missing dependencies...and THEIR missing dependencies, etc.), or you can pay for RHEL/load CentOS and do things the easy way. Bear in mind that if you install libraries from source, you may very well break OTHER programs that depend on the older software, or aren't compatible with what you did manually. This is the VERY REASON people pay for support, since when they do, they KNOW that the packages available to them are going to work, and that they have recourse with Red Hat if they don't.
