Hello, I have been asked to update some development servers and have to do this manually as they are on corporate network without external access. Currently they are on Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 3 (Taroon Update 2)and I have been asked to get them to update 8. Everything I have found to download appears to be full installs of the OS. I believe I need just the update rpms and also to know if I have to install all updates between 2 and 8 or if update 8 will be complete. Any link to download just the update or corrections to my thinking is greatly appreciated.

Since you have Red Hat Enterprise, don't you get updates from Red Hat Networ? Or did someone allow your subscription to lapse?

These servers are in a development lab without access to the internet, only the internal network. So I can download something to my workstation and then scp it over etc. but I can not go directly to redhat from the servers that need updating. Becuase it is a dev environment, they do not maintain subscriptions.

I found the rpm update only here:http://ftp.riken.jp/Linux/whitebox/3...pdates/x86_64/

and was able to run that rpm and update the system.
