Redhat Gnome GUI activation


I had just installed Redhat 7.0 and I had installed a full packaged.But startup is under a text based mode?when i send a command of startx,the monitor just become blank screen?I guess is resolution problem,how should I solve this problem.

What is your current hardware setup? Any reason why you're running this distro and not something more current..such as Fedora?

i bought this distribution a couple a years back and run it before,now i wants to try again.
Any advise to change the resolution thru text mode.

I suggest you get yourself a newer distro like Fedora or Redhat Enterprise Linux. (or its clones) Redhat 7 is now a legacy distro with no support or updates.
