I need clarification about difference between RedHat Enterprise Linux Advanced Server Standard Edition and Premium Edition.
Is the difference only in support level or there are any other difference too? Are there any othere difference on package basis too.

there isn't a standard or premium edition for rhel-as. perhaps you are referring to the support options? unless i am mistaken, advanced server is only available with premium support, whereas enterprise server is available with either standard or premium support. it is my understanding that premium support includes phone and web support from red hat.

in any event, even red hat enterprise linux workstation includes most, if not all, of the packages available on advanced server (as far as i have observed; i have not made a package-by-package comparison).

there r standard and premium support levels for AS. whereas standard edition has 5x12 & 4 hr response, premium edition has 24x7 and 1 hr response. what i want to know is how to distinguish between the standard and premium version?
