Does RHEL install using FTP support username/password without the GUI?

I need to secure my RHEL network FTP hosted from Windows 2k3r2
Weird problem happened... maybe my code is wrong in default.cfg:
ks=ftp://usernameCOLONpassword@192.168.0.1:50/rhel32/ks.cfg (more below)

Symptoms:
1) Kickstart found with anonymous ftp using ks=ftp://192.168.0.1:50/rhel32/ks.cfg (with IIS anonymous on)

2) GUI mode works when I select non-anonymous and enter a windows username/password

3) how do i do it using default.cfg instead for the GUI???

OS: RHEL5u4 Client CD over network install using IIS FTP
PXELinux: Latest verrsion

anonymous ftp (unchecked) - I want this to work

Are you specifying the non-anonymous usernameCOLONpassword in your ks.cfg?

Kickstart Options

The kickstart file itself appears ok.
I guess my problem is calling the kernel loader with a kickstart file option.
That happens outside the kickstart file. Kinda like a cd starting up and having a setting for a kickstart file embedded. I am loading the cd via ftp (requires username and password) with an embedded kickstart file name (must pull the kickstart file using username/password) Any pointers? As I said, all of this works from ftp in anonymous mode ftp. I just wanted it to pull the "cd" and "kickstart" with a username and password"

Easiest solution would be to limit anonymous user to specific private subnet until you find a solution.

What comes to my mind is that cd kickstart file is searched on "local" media and it is located on remote (FTP) location. You need to for example mount ftp site on local mount point first and then pull file from that virtual filesystem or maybe to set only kickstart file on the anonymous FTP.

Nothing seemed to help. I have gone back to using an anonymous ftp that is read-only(since that always worked). Wish I knew if the problem was a Red hat one or the IIS FTP site I set up. Has anyone else made a "non-anonymous" ftp and been able to kickstart and host the files via network. Maybe someone will figure it out, but I am worn out of ideas.

Well, for one, I would never setup IIS site, not even if my life depended on it (well, maybe then). What about Filezilla FTP server? It's GPL software, works on windows, I used it all the time when I used windows. I even think I have it installed on my brothers Windows machine.
