Redhat 9 wireless card setup

Hi,
I just recently installed RH9 on my old computer(P2), I and I am having difficulty installing my wireless card. I have a CNET CNWL-311 wireless card which comes with a driver for redhat 9 on a cd. So I installed the driver by following instructions and Redhat recognises it in the hardware configuration as "Generic rt2400 device" under System devices in hardware browser.
I was wondering how I can get Redhat to recognise this as a wireless network card so that I can use it to access my network\ internet. Whenever I go into internet Configuration wizard, it never comes up under wireless network sevices or network devices. I can access a configuration window for the card which sets up WEP and the rest. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
