Red Hat/Fedora One CD instalation?

I would like to know if I can make a desktop workstation install with only one CD (instead of 3)?

I know Mandrake has the essentials in the first CD and I wanted to know if the same happens to Red Hat (specificaly Fedora)

I don't think that will work. Depending on what gets installed (and "Workstation" is a lot) you will need the 2nd CD at least.

so, 2 cds should be enough for a workstation install....

If I'm not mistaken, I believe cd 3 will have KDE & Gnome on it! When I installed it, cd 2 started with one of the desktops and then asked for disc 3 to finish.

So it may be best to have all 3 available.
