Red Hat Ent Linux 4 Ws on a Dell GX620

All:

I am trying to get Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 WS running on a Dell GX620. It seems like I do get it to load okay, but when I reboot the system and it boots first time it seems to be hung up on this line:

Loading /lib/kbd/keymaps/i386/qwerty/us.map.us

I am not a Unix admin, I am a Windows admin and I maintain images for developer workstations. I have been asked to get a Linux image up and running. This is the OS they are developing to.

Any idea how I can around/fix tis? Also any ideas how I can successfully image this and put it into a partition? I will use
a 3rd party boot loader.

The line should read "Loading /lib/kbd/keymaps/i386/qwerty/us.map.gz" and it would be odd to have it hanging there unless there's a problem with 'loadkeys' or the configured keymap file itself. It would be more common to have it hanging for the next item: setting hostname. If you still encounter this problem see if you can boot the machine into runlevel 1 OK (grub, enter menu for kernel of choice edit kernel line and add " 1" at the end) or use the installer CD in rescue mode and boot the system with that.
