Unhappy Red Hat 9 hang at "GRUB" prompt (with XP)

I am a newbie to Linux, I recently install Red Hat 9 on to my third harddisk, everything went on fine, the installation is successful, but after reboot, it boot straight into Windows XP instead of the bootloader.

Hence, I decided to change setting in the bios and set the first boot to 3rd harddisk, follow by 1st harddisk (XP). The system boot and hang at

GRUB

that is all I see on the screen. Anyone who could provide a solution to my problem will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You will need to boot with the boot floppy you created "You Did Make a Boot Disk?". If not boot with your Redhat 9 cd with ' linux rescue ' and let it mount your install. Goto /sysimage/sbin/ and run ' grub-install '. If that does not do it you might have edit /sysimage/boot/grub/grub.conf file.

Copy of my grub.conf
# grub.conf generated by anaconda
#
# Note that you do not have to rerun grub after making changes to this file
# NOTICE: You have a /boot partition. This means that
# all kernel and initrd paths are relative to /boot/, eg.
# root (hd0,0)
# kernel /vmlinuz-version ro root=/dev/sda7
# initrd /initrd-version.img
#boot=/dev/sda
default=0
timeout=10
splashimage=(hd0,0)/grub/splash.xpm.gz

Good luck
