Question about xmms player..

Ok, I just downloaded the newest version of xmms because the default version that came with redhat 9 wouldnt respond to my mp3s.. anyhow with the new version it is playing a 10 minute song in 5 seconds... is there something else I need to download or what is going on ?

Did you also make sure to download and install mpg321 to support mp3 formats? Redhat doesn't come default with this app.
