Hi to everyone,

I am new to Linux and i have a minor problem after installing my Nvidia driver from www.nvidia.com.

Firt i installed Centos 6.2 (x64) and then i did a "yum update"
in order to upgrade my system to Centos 6.4.

I followed the commands according to site "http://www.twodee.org/weblog/?p=1056" and the resolution result was not what i expected (1920x1080) but lower. (in order to disable nouveau driver)

I checked "nvidia x server settings" wizard and the resolution box was set to 1920x1080!!

I did all the required reboots!!

If anyone knows how to fix the resolution problem, i will appreciate if he (or she) could write step by step what should i do. ( i am not an expert to Linux!!)

PS: I want to fix the problem using the driver from official Nvidia site, not from ELRepo (kmod-nvidia). I know the benefits using ELRepo if i want, in future, to upgrade the Centos Kernel
