As I said, it's out-of-date and should read "kernel = 2.4.20" at least, since you do have such a kernel installed, albeit not in a kernel rpm.

You could get the dummy9 src.rpm, modify it, rebuild the binary rpm, upgrade to it, and be done. But all this is not Red Hat Linux, but a modified installation, btw.
