Question printer is not print properly with only linux machine


Not sure if this is supposed to be here or in networking.

In my organization one printer (USB Printer) is shared on linux machine for window & linux users,
this printer is proper working with window machine and their printout is proper visible with bold charachter, but when ever i send a printout job by linux machines my print quality is very low or dull visible, mostly in such cases, it starts up but then just shoots out a million blank pages.
It looks like everything is configured right and when i do a test print, the printer.
plz help me quickly actully my boss is very angry on me.
But big problem is my printer is working proper with window machine,
but its configure on linux machine
I'm using RHEL 5.3
MY printer is hplaserjet 1010

There are drivers for HP LJ 10xx printers on http://foo2zjs.rkkda.com/. you will also need ghostscript installed. Best version that works for me is here: http://rpms.plnet.rs/centos5-i386/RP...et-downloaded/

Direct links to rpms are: http://rpms.plnet.rs/centos5-i386/RP....63-1.i386.rpm and http://rpms.plnet.rs/centos5-i386/RP....63-1.i386.rpm. I only have i386 version of the packages.

Ghostcript version could be the cause of the described problems.

I would also suggest that you use CUPS for printing from linux to linux.

Question my ghostscript version is

hello dear
my ghostscript-8.63-1 this is install on linux printserver and linux client...
my py print quality is very dull on same pages in comparision of MS Window...
