Postfix suspending mail delivery(configured with clamav and amavis)

My postfix was running fine until i installed clamav and amavis.

I tested amavis using (amavisd debug) and its running pretty ok.

I am using the the default IP/PORT (127.0.0.1:3310) for cummunicating with clamd and
i am getting a response after issuing the command :
telnet 127.0.0.1 3310
PING
I am worried because my mails are not going to their inbox and below is part of the logged message :

status= deffered ( delivery temporarily suspended : mail transport unavailable)
