Pop3 server for RHEL4

I'm trying to setup a pop3 server on my Redhat Enterprise 4. I used up2date to install dovecot, but it insists on using MySQL 4, which I don't want (I already have MySQL 5).

Is there a way of installing dovecot without MySQL 4/forcing it to use MySQL 5 or is there another pop3 server that I can use?

Try installing the dovecot RPM manually.

Code:
# rpm --force -i dovecot-0.99.11-4.EL4.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
        libmysqlclient.so.14 is needed by dovecot-0.99.11-4.EL4.i386
    Suggested resolutions:
        mysql-4.1.20-1.RHEL4.1.i386.rpm
Any suggestions?

Did you try "rpm --nodeps"?

I installed the MySQL-shared-compat (for MySQL 5) and dovecot, which seemed to fix the problem.
