Offline uncorrectable sectors

Hello,everyone!

I've got another question regarding the log message in /var/log/messages. I have seen the following message keep logging in the messages file.

screenshot

I'm not quite sure whether it is a false alarm or it is real as the server is running fine now.

Anyway,I do backup so I am not that worried.

Do you guys have any similar experiences? Please feel free to drop me a line if you do.

Not really, look at Google’s Disk Failure Experience. With 1-year AFR(Annualized failure rates) dropping significantly from
the AFR observed in the first three months.

Well-known HDD diagnostic tools that able to make surface scan and remap bad sectors.

Anyway you should claim the warranty.
