d4harvey Member Registered: Jul 2003 Location: Ontario, Canada Distribution: Fedora Core 1 - 5 Posts: 99 Rep:	Nvidia agpgart patch and 2.4.20-28.8 in RH8 hi, i need to install the nvidia chipset drivers with the RH8 patched kernel 2.4.20-28.8. I try to do this and I receive a message that specific hunks have failed. could someone perhaps enlighten me on how I should do this (and if there is any disadvantage to download the 2.4.20 kernel source and comiling this from scratch vs. being able to use the RH8 patch kernel) thanks DH
