NIC compatibility issues


i just installed RH 9 and it wont detect my NIC. i tried the wizard thing and none of the options they have are for the NIC that i have. the NIC i am currently using is a 3com gigabit nic that is built on to my motherboard.

Asus on their ftp has drivers for this 3com setup, if you dont have support already. I know on my system, it had drivers for it, just didnt recognize it, so I had to manually set it up. What I did was added "3c2000" to /etc/modules at the end (no quotes of course), restarted the connection, and rebooted. On start up, it recognized my NIC then.
