motherboard suggestion for quad core q6600


Hi

i have intel core2quad q6600 and i need a motherboard to work on it with redhat enterprise 4 with the latest update

as i have abit ip35 pro and it is not working with RHEL 4

Not working how ???. Maybe you need some kernel support for on-board chipset. I don't use RHEL, but I'd be willing to bet they aren't "latest-and-greatest" when it comes to kernel.
I had trouble putting together a Gigabyte mobo for a q6600 back before Christmas. All the needed support is in the (released) kernel now, but wasn't at the time.

Try grabbing the fedora core 6 latest kernel, which is 2.6.22. That will fix most problems with newer hardware. Hell of a lot easier than trying to compile your own.
