monitor shuts down on install
ok, I have an nVidia GeForce FX5200 with dual view. The problem is when I try to install RedHat 9, when the Anaconda installer begins, my primary monitor shuts down and my secondary display (hooked to my tv) shows a garbled image of the graphical installer...
is there a way to tell the installer that my graphics card is dual view and make it use the primary display and not the secondary one? :Pengy: :newbie: |
Well, have you tried unhooking your secondary display, install RH, and then hook it back up?
Is your tv card supported by RH? Start here to find out: http://www.linuxquestions.org/hcl/ |
yeap... it ignores my primary display even when unhooking the s-video connector... there is actually a driver called nvidia geforce fx generic but it does no good to it...
