make clear commande error


I want to install RDAC driver in REDHAT 5.3 and when i try to excute a commande make clear i have this output :

[root@etl linuxrdac-09.03.0C05.0030]# make clear
make: *** No rule to make target `clear'. Stop.

can any one help me please

Hi,

A makefile will contain various 'targets', investigating the makefile will show you the targets available. I would guess you were meaning 'make clean' ?
