MailServer Setup

Hello All,

I hope someone here could get me started with mail server setup. right now, I am totally stuck.

I have RedHat9 Linux and I wanna use postfix as my MTA.

Aside from postfix, what else do I need to install inorder to form the mail server. I am confuse about POP3 or IMAP, what are they? are they automatically installed also when I install postfix?

Please somebody here... just a general steps of overall requirements!

Well my first suggestion is that you upgrade from Redhat 9, there are plenty of upgrades available, CentOS, Whitebox, Fedora or if your interested in paying RHEL.

next I suggest u got to my website listed below and search for postifx.

there is plenty of information on setting up a mail server there.
