Lost Password

I installed RedHat Linux on a server about 4 months ago. I planned on getting the server going right away, but then work got in the way. About 2 days ago, I finally found some free time to work on this server and for some strange reason I can't remember my password. I am almost sure I have my username correct, but I don't have the slightest clue as to what my password was.

Is there any way I can recover it without having to reinstall the entire os? I have a legal copy of Linux, and I have all the CDs that came with it, so if someone could let me know about any options I may have, I would appreciate it.

Thx.

EDIT: Forgot to mention... I've worked with, built, and fixed computers for years, but I'm a total Linux

Is it the user password that you can't remember or is it the root password. If you are able to login as root, you can change your users password by doing,
Code:
#password username
enter a new password for the user and your done. If you have lot your root password its a whole different issue altogether. Post back if its the root password you've lost and I'll give you details on how to recover it.

Password reset. I contacted a friend of mine that knows Linux really well, and he was able to help me out.
