Looking for RPM/SRPM

I want to upgrade MYSQL to version 4 on a RH9 system but I can't find any RPM's or SRPM's for it.

I've got some SRPMS that work on FC2 but not sure if I can use these safely on a RH9 system.

Tried rpmfind.net and http://download.fedoralegacy.org/ but I can't find any of the RPM's I'm looking for.

Should they be compiled from scratch from mysql.com?

Or can I grab em elsehwere?

Thx

You probably can't find any since RH 9 is outdated by several years now almost. Not as many run it, it has known bugs, non-updated packages, etc.

If you insist on using RH 9 without updating it, your best bet is to stop looking for RPM's and compile from source for updated packages that will depend on newer RPM's. Even the SRPMS can have newer dependencies you might not have installed, etc.
