LAMP installation tutorial needed


Red HAt Newbie needs a good lead for a a LAMP installation tutorial. I just installed RHEL 5.4. I have seen several on the web, just looking for recommends. Thanks

Hello,

This one from HowToForge.com should do nicely for what concerns configuration. Although it points yum (which doesn't work out of the box on a RedHat) you should be able to install the same packages through the standard RedHat install (RHN?).

Actually, you need to register with RH first, using rhn_register (as root), then you can use yum (or the GUI) to get updates.
In fact there's a default daemon rhnsd that checks every 4 hrs for updates, but it can only work if you've registered.
Obviously if you don't want to pay RH, use Centos instead.
