RedHat uses precompiled packages for it's software, and recompiling Gnome could get ugly, so no, my fix for the latest Fluxbox releases wont work for RH Gnome.
I honestly dont know if Gnome is meant to support the Kde system tray, as from the Fluxbox options I know they each have thier own standards. Maybe I should use Gnome more...
Edit: You might notice from the command that "
./configure" is executing something within the current directory (aka ./). It's the standard name of the script which'll generate system specific files for you to then
make and
make install a package of software sources. See
