kernel panic: attempted to kill init! RH9 after install
I'm trying to install RH9 on my new computer. soyo kt600 mobo w/20 gig hd and 1gig of RAM. The install goes fine but when I reboot into linux I get the error kernel panic: attempted to kill init! I've tried disabling the onboard ethernet and RAID functions and reinstalling but no fix. I'm not ready to give up yet. Can anyone help?
Thank you
Would I be better off installing another distro? I purchased this one with the SAMS RH book hoping to start the learning process. Are the differences between distros to much to use this book for RH9 with another distro?
