Issue with konsole in RH EL4
 

Again, on an IBM PPC, RH EL4 (I believe they're calling it) I'm having an incredibly annoying issue while using konsole in KDE. Every time i want to type something while holding the shift key down a menu pops up - so to type "F" you have to hold the shift key down, hit the "f" key once (brings up menu), hit "f" key twice (menu goes away, capital "F" is printed).

Anyone have any ideas on why it's doing this and how to make it stop!?? It's driving me absolutely insane!! The menu starts off with:

Paste Shift+Insert
Paste Selection Ctrl+Shift+Insert
