Is my vmlinux not matching my vmlinuz?

Hi,

I used OProfile for kernel profiling and got a number of strange symbol as a result (which are clearly not kernel functions). The assumption is that the reason was that my vmlinux (which has to be passed to OProfile) does not match my vmlinuz.

How can I check that?

Thanks a lot
