go here:

--Link broken. URL removed. Sorry!--

I've slung the files into a zip archive and uploaded them there, 'cause I can't remember where I got them.

(They're GPL'd, so I can do this without incurring any wrath).

Cheers.

Yeah, I get that too, but it doesn't seem to affect the functionality.

According to http://walbran.org/sean/linux/linmodem-howto-old.html :

----Quote:
Even though a module is functional despite these complaints, it is advisable to use them minimally. Quoting an email from Mark Spieth,

"A driver can never work properly if there are unresolved symbols, as it means something is not going to work. Furthermore, it means that that something that would have been called will call something else in the kernel and this could be anything. This is_very_bad."

For modem drivers, simply remove them after termination of an online session with:

rmmod modem-driver
End Quote----

I can honestly say I've never had any problems, though.

I've found the Intel page with the drivers, if you want to try what must be the latest drivers:

http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scri...7&DwnldID=5976

Hope this all helps.

Dave
