Installing SAS driver at bootup

Here is a bit of a pickle.
We just bought an IBM Xseries 306m.
Everything looks good but I can't install the adaptec driver at installation.
Using RHES4.
The instructions from IBM say to create a floppy disk and type linux dd
Only problem is the Server doesn't come with a floppy drive nor does it have a floppy drive port I can plug one in.
Is their another prompt I can use other than dd to specify the cddrive for the location of the driver?

Call IBM support
Then wait on hold
then get transfered and push when prompted 1,4,2,3
Then hang up and call 1-800-426-7378
and push option 2 and then option 3
wait on hold again.
have your serial number and repeat t 6 times because they can't hear me.

Get transfered pres 1 and 1 then wait
enter in my machine code
then talk for a bit then get transfered again to the service technicians as they have to send someone out to look at the machine. I don't think this is going to require a service call, but oh well still on hold. Someone save me and give me some advise my neck has a major kink in it and I am supposed to go golfing this afternoon.

You can burn the files from the floppy to a CD and then use that to add the drivers. Personally, I've not been successful in getting the 306m to install, no matter what drivers I use, but I'm trying Fedora and CentOS, not RHEL.

I am sad to say that this server ended up having winblows installed on it due to the driver issue. How very disturbing. I hang my head in shame.
