Strange situation happen to me.
I got a set of binary Red Hat Enterprise Linux/x86 ES 3 (Taroon) installation cds. I boot the cd to install. When it come to installation method, I choose cd-rom method and the first installation cd still on the drive. But it can't recognize the cd and said it is not the RHEL cd! I'm very sure it can read the cd-rom because i can see cd-rom LED blinking when it attemp to read the cd.
What method the installation attemp to recognize the cd? is it from its label? volume? ".info" file? Is there any floppy boot images to skip the installation method or to skip the medium checking? I have tried the iso method but it also don't recognize the source. The ISOs are in a FAT32 fs. By the way, the cds are not the original from RH. I burned them from a friend. But they work fine on him! Please help me!!!!!
