normally you unpack .tar.gz by doing
tar zxf drivername.tar.gz however, are you sure this is the only thing you have to do? Maybe you should visit www.linuxprinting.org for a solid guide to get your printer to work. good luck |
I went to the lexmark site and this is the driver for RH9 CJLZ35LE-CUPS-1.0-0.tar.gz,I need a printer only to print web pages for help as I am lost most of the time and get tired of writing everything down, mayby for me it would be best to buy a cheap printer that will work without me having to do much, any suggestions?thanks david
