Hi everyone, I am trying to install Oracle 11g on CenotOS 6.2 64 bit (this is a linode server).
I am doing these steps (some details are missed):
1. yum install libaio bc flex
2. rpm -ivh oracle-xe-11.2.0-1.0.x86_64.rpm
3. /etc/init.d/oracle-xe configure
Starting Oracle Net Listener...Done
Database Configuration failed. Look into log for detail
Logs: ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist
Linux-x86_64 Error: 2: No such file or directory
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [SKGMHASH], , , , , , , , , , , 
Create controlfile reuse set database "XE"
