:( Initializing Hardware Network Storage Problem
Hi all,
I Installed RHEL 4 U3(Enterprise Edition) on a remote disk using iSCSI.
when tried booting from the remote disk, the initrd file gets loaded properly, the init scrpit of the initrd runs properly and establishes a connection to the remote disk. But system hangs for 10~20 Minutes when the init process is swapped and then boots up.
The Hang i see is at:
Initializing hardware network storage
After this message it takes almost 10~20 minutes to show next messages.
I am using a x86 architecture Mother board, i am having a IDE device at the remote end.
