Finally I came up with this.

who am i|awk '{print $6}'|cut -d\( -f 2|echo `cut -d\) -f 1` is logged into your system|mail -s "Alert Mail" root@localhost

I am getting all expect that $user. It's printing a space.
UNIX and Linux are case sensitive. $USER is not the same as $user.
