I cant boot from my fedora core 2 disc
 
Hi, i need some help, i have downloaded all the discs for fedora core 2, and when itry to boot from the disc, a failure message appears, i dont know if someone haves this problem to, or if i can install it in other way or if that haves a solution, thx :Pengy:

It might help iif we gather a little more information to make it easier to identify the cause of your issue.

For starters, what method and tools did you use to take the iso files and make your CDs? You mention that you get a failure message, when in the boot-up cycle does this error occour? What is the failure message that you are receving?

Can you successfully boot the machine in question with another bootable CD? Can you mount the Fedora Core 2 CD in your RedHat 9 box? What are the results of performing a 'ls -l' from the base directory of the CD?

Hopefully with this information, The solution will become apperent enough for someone to get you started in the right direction.

i have solved the error
 
I was extracting thi iso images with win rar and then writing the files to a blanck disc (Big mistake), sorry for asking that kind of things, it was the first time that i deal with iso images, sorry, thx any way
