HOW?? Upgrade RHEL AS 3 to RHEL AS 4

I would really appreciate it if anyone can tell me the steps to migrate my Linux box from RHEL AS3 to RHEL AS4.

One way is to install the new OS and copy all the data over, but I don't want to re-do the partition again. Any other simple/safe ways?

ps: Please don't suggest any other OS's. There is a reason that I have to upgrade it to RHEL 4

boot through ur RHEL 4 cd/dvd and after it queries for Keyboard layout and language it asks you whether u want a fresh install or upgrade... chose upgrade and follow d instructions... all your data and configuration settings will b preserved and u wont even need to mess with your partitions and all

As far as I can remember, RH didn't support upgrade before. Now upgrade thru yum works (just tried it the other day on RH4 b/w two update levels). Don't know if it works b/w RH3 and RH4 though.
