Post how to uninstall lilo & install grub without using gui & linuxconf?


hi u geeks,

i just want to uninstall lilo & use grub instead? how do u do tat without using gui & linuxconf?

There's a command grub-install that will do it for you. You don't need to uninstall lilo - keep it around in case you have problems and want to go back to it - grub will just overwrite it on the mbr, or however else you installed it.
