But i am unable to connect my usb modem in linux.
|
and in a VM you will never be able
wireless is not seen by VM's
also if you
DO NOT intend on PAYING for the NOT FREE RHEL6
then DO NOT USE IT !!!!!
you will NEVER be able to install software on a UNREGISTERED and unlicensed copy
install one of the FREE rebuilds
CentOS6.3
ScientificLinux6.3
if this IS a dual boot with RHEL6 and xp
if you DO NOT pay for the support contract then you CAN NOT install software for that usb modem
PAY for the support
and contact red hat support
the30 day trial ( you NEED to register )
grants you access to it
Also RHEL6 is designed for a HEADLESS SERVER and NOT for a laptop
NOT everything is going to work!
RHEL will mostly run on most laptops BUT some things MIGHT not work or not work well
ask the sales rep if your hardware IS FULLY supported .
