How to Install Flash Player RHEL4.4 Firefox-1.5.0.3

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
I am using RHEL4.4 ES with mozilla firefox 1.5.0.3. I am unable to load flash player. The instruction says locate the installation directory of mozilla. That I am unable to find. There is no such directory as /usr/lib/mozilla<version no> in my system. But /usr/lib/firefox<version no> directory is present. I tried by copying the lib.so file in the plugin directory of firefox, but it is not working. Please can some body guide me which version of flash player I should install and hoe to install.

I think there is a hidden directory within the users directory .mozilla/. Try installing it in that directory.

The firefox version 1.5.0.3 will not take flash 10. However, it will work with flash-player-plugin-9.0.21.55 with some limitations on some sites. That is if you can find it. (i.e. no NGC video, enlarment screens, Hulu, yahoo video on popurl or metacafe site).
To install the plugin it goes in /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins/ file. Or locate similar file. Or ~/.mozilla maybe a last resort.

hth && gl

Addendum
If you want the old flash9 plugin I've uploaded it here.
