how to copy files from my linux server.

I have got a remote linux server and usually i ssh into that to do my work. Now i need to copy some files from that server to my local machine and similarly back to the server after altering them. They are some music files.

The problem is that my server is rejecting any ftp access.

Hey
Can you SSH into the server?

If so, use SCP to copy the files securely to a different machine. SCP uses SSH and has encryption.
