HOw do i handle packages in Red Hat 9.0


Hi,

I recently installed Red Hat 9.0 on my PC.
How do i install & manage various packages on it??
I have my Internet Dialer as a (.tar.gz) file? How do i install it??

Please Help!!

You would have been better off installing Fedora Core 4 because Redhat 9 and below are now obsolte and there are no more upgrades or support from Redhat. As for installing software take a look here. Its a page from LQ Wiki. The wiki contains a lot of useful info so browse through it if you have time.
