Hotplug problems: RH 9, 2.6.6, PCMCIA-CS 3.2.7 (missing ide.agent & block.agent)

In my quest to get my wireless PCMCIA card working I moved from kernel 2.4 to 2.6.6 and that required pcmcia-cs 3.2.7. Cardmgr now runs but when I put in a CF adapter (an easier test then the LinkSys WPC55AG) it complains that /etc/hotplug/ide.agent and /etc/hotplug/block.agent are not present. Loading up the most recent version of hotplug (from 2004 03 29) has not helped as such only has net.agent, pci.agent, and a few others.

Does anyone know whats going on here?

Are ide.agent and block.agent needed?

If so where do I get them and if not how do I remove said dependence.

I was able to download the rpm-utils package from
javascript:openExternal(%22http://www.kaybee.org/~kirk/html/linux.html%22)

which enabled me to extract just the block.agent, generic_empty.agent, and ide.agent (the last is a symlink to generic_empty.agent) and the needed hotplug.subfs.functions files from
ftp://chuck.ucs.indiana.edu/pub/arra...2.5.noarch.rpm

whcih allowed pcmcia CF adapters and the CF slot itself to work. Once again answering my own questions.
