I can't find the default driver to select inf redhat 9

Using Gigabyte ATI Radeon 9200SE. Redhat Linux Enterprise WS don't have those driver but select VESA graphic driver instead. Don't idea of will linux driver coming out for ATI ? Try select VESA driver, should work.

ATI DRIVERS
 
For the generic start, the vesa drivers will work and I think there is also a generic radeon driver as well.

ATI has the drivers for download so make sure to get those!

Using the current ufficial version, install the rpm, run fglrxconfig and it should work fine, I got my 9600 Pro working on the fly... Tux Racer works, fglrxinfo reports correctly, in a few moments I'll try Quake 3 to see if it actually works correctly...
