if u can mount fat32, root should have write access. if u r root and already cant write fat32, check /etc/fstab file if there s any line about vfat, fat32.
u can try umount your fat32 partion then mount like this.
#umount /mnt/win
#mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/win
1st and 2nd lines : change "/mnt/win" to your mount directory for fat32 partition.
2nd line, also change "/dev/hda1" to your fat32 partition.
if u dont know where your fat32 partition is, u may check partitions with
#fdisk -l /dev/hda
if its fail try /dev/hdb, /dev/hdc .... instead of hda.
u will able to see partions of your disk.
