Hello,
I run rhel5 with 2.6.18-8 kernel. Can anybody suggest me a link for downloading fuse kernel module for the above mentioned version?

Code:
modprobe fuse
if that doesn't complain then installing is rather easy.

Your PackageManagement program should have some fuse* related items there, perhaps that should be tried first?

If not, here's the instructions for building 2.8.4 from source (as root):
Code:
cd /usr/src
wget https://downloads.sourceforge.net/pr...dnetworks-us-1
tar zxf fuse-2.8.4.tar.gz
./configure --prefix=/usr && make && make install
export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/lib/pkgconfig:/usr/lib64/pkgconfig/
   ldconfig && modprobe fuse
   pkg-config --modversion fuse
These instructions came from a fuse-enabled CentOS 5.7 host.

Have fun.

You can install fuse using rpm source,

http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3?stat...40&search=fuse

You can also install fuse through rpmforge repository .Look after the below link
